こんにちは。
昨年アメリカ追加関税の影響で米国宛て郵便物発送が停止されていましたが、2026年4月14日より受け入れ再開されました。
これはかなり喜ばしいことです。
しかしながら800ドル以下と個人宛ギフト100ドル以下以外の荷物はDDP（Delivered Duty Paid）関税を先に支払って荷物を送るという方法。
しかも該当郵便局でしか発送できないので近所の小さな郵便局は取り扱いできず大きな郵便局に持っていかないといけない。

現在はスマートフォンでのみ手続きができないようです。
パソコンで利用できるともっと機能的なのですが、発送ができるということの方が重要なので数をこなせば慣れていくかしら。

Hello.
Due to the impact of additional U.S. tariffs last year, the shipment of mail to the United States had been suspended, but acceptance resumed on April 14, 2026. This is very welcome news.
However, for shipments other than those valued at $800 or less and personal gifts valued at $100 or less, you must pay the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) customs duties in advance before sending the package.
Furthermore, since these shipments can only be sent at designated post offices, small neighborhood post offices cannot handle them, and you must take them to a larger post office.

It seems that currently, you can only complete the process on a smartphone.
It would be more convenient if it were available on a computer, but since the ability to ship items is more important, I suppose I’ll get used to it once I’ve done it a few times.
